I currently work for cssb, right now I have been there about a month.

The first 'paycheck' was a mistake apparently and I was told would be fixed.

Skip to two weeks later, not only am I unpaid for 12 hours on the first check, after they had a 'direct deposit' issue and caused me to be late on rent. I am now about 20-30 hours unpaid, overtime hours.

I'm supposed to report to work tomorrow at 4pm, but, nobody can gas up their car with empty promises. (If you find someone who can let me know).

If you work for continental security, prepare to be paid in empty promises, then asked to come in on your day off.

This is the beginning of a beautiful break up.

Stay tuned as I'll be posting proof, links, and much more not just here, update to follow.

The Better Business Bureau is old, but if they aren't paid, rest assured this will be a C business at best in the coming months.

It is very difficult to advance in this company in spite of reliability or work ethic because of favortism. Many positions don't even involve an interview, you are just selected by the higher ups. I've worked under a supervisor that I trained as a regular gaurd and yet she was premotioned over me, and I've been looked over at other times even though I was told my hard work is appreciated and I will advance, it amounts to nothing. The current supervisor at one of the sites has been there only a year and is making the company look bad in front of the client. Sad.

Thank you cssb for everything. I enjoy working for you guys and I plan on retiring from you all in the next 24 years lol. This is one of the best places I have ever worked. I don t understand all the bad reviews. If you go to work and do what you are supposed to, there will be no problem and you will be valued. My bosses and hR people are also the best. I couldn t thank them enough and I truly look forward every day going into work. I learn something new every day with this company, that helps me with becoming the best.

I have worked with CSSB little under a year. My sister worked with Continental several years ago and her Husband as well. I decided to apply myself based on how they felt about the company. As well as any other company, all company s have bad and good reviews based on a good employee or a disgruntled employee. I loved working as a guard but wanted something more for myself and I worked hard and moved up pretty quickly. There are many opportunities outside the office as well as inside you just have to work for it. However, I love working with the people inside the office, and the office staff is pretty much like family! It is overall a great place to work!

I currently am a LPO for the company but also worked in the uniform division for about a month. granted every company has its downfalls. I would say there are quite a bit of cooperate communication issues between our dispatch, higher ups, HR, and employees, but overall my managers are really great and are very chill. its nice to have mangers that I know if I have a problem 1. they will not only help find a solution , but will lead me in that direction. 2. if I have a concern , they measure it gets taken care of, and 3. they have my back. I would say after seeing all these reviews that maybe this job isn't for everyone, but I'm only 19 so its a good starting job. I will also agree with the people that say the insurance is a joke, because truthfully it is. other than that id say its a good starting career for young adults, but I'm not to sure its the right job to support a family unless you have a management position.

Used to work here as the LPO for New Philadelphia Menards. You are given high standards, little to no training, pay issues, and lies and exploitation. Every hour of every day was stressful to the point I picked my fingers apart with a pocket knife. Avoid this place both as a employee and anyone looking for security services.

The employee at Old Fort is unprofessional, never see her with her mask on, rude, let's people on site without signing in(guess only works when you give her food). So slow I have to wait over 30 minutes. Trucks backed up on roadway. Unacceptable.

Worst company I've ever worked for in my life, will put you on a site and when your 8 hours are up and your ready to be relieved and go home and for them to tell you were working on it over and over and you are their for 12 hours sorry but no thanks keep your job.

Worst place I've ever worked! I see why they are losing contracts left and right! I repeated told them I was being bullied at keystone and they wouldn't transfer me kept saying they needed me there. I'm sorry 11 an hour isn't enough when you have two guards cussing and yelling at you because of the schedule that you have no control over! Very unprofessional and hopefully they will soon be out of business

As a current Loss Prevention Officer for this company I have to say that it s been an amazing last 7 months with the company. All supervisors are very easy to get ahold of and reply back in a responsible and timely manner. I ve NEVER had an issue with payroll or being paid on my correct paydays (unlike some other small security companies).

They are always professional and very understanding of any personal situations and are very flexible with scheduling as well. Loss Prevention is something I ve always wanted to get into as I have 10+ years of private security experience and I couldn t be more happy to work for this company. Everyone from HR all the way to regional supervisors are extremely professional and treat their employees/officers with respect.

If anyone is interested in getting into Security or Loss Prevention I would highly recommend CSSB for a great professional job and career opportunities. I look forward to my future with this company.

I've been employed with Continental for almost a decade of my life and I couldn't imagine doing anything else. I work along side some of the best professionals in the security business and it's nice knowing you always have someone to have your back. Continental has been there for me at times I needed it most and I'll forever be grateful for the things I've accomplished for myself while being employed through them. All I can say is show up to work and do your job as specified and you will not regret working for this company!!!

I would leave no stars if I could. My son Blake Kepus worked here for a month and gave them Blood Sweat and Tears at all hours they requested. One week he worked 62 hours and the next 68. They totally ripped him off with his paycheck and only gave him $500. I told him to file a small claims case. Boycott this place! Work at Walmart and get an honest check if you must.

This company is a joke to work for, they do NOT respect their employees, Or their needs. They're only interested to hear that you'll work 12+ hour shifts leaving you at a site for 16+ hours. All of the employees that work in the office have very nasty attitudes, this is very poorly ran. I completely understand why the turn over rate is so high. I do NOT recommend working here, or even hiring this company to watch or patrol my site. If I could give it 0 stars I would indeed.

I worked for CSSB back in 1986, 87. Back then it was a great place to work. I'm shocked at some of the reviews I have read. I can't believe CSSB has changed that much. I really loved working there and my Lieutenant at the time was great as well. I am now retired and currently living in Florida, but have often thought about my days with CSSB. The memories I have are fond ones. The superiors were just as wonderful as my coworkers
We actually were like a family.

If i could give no stars i would. First of all they are very unprofessional. When you call Ohio they are rude and if you call in for emergency and have paper work or proof dispatch will not report that. I have excused absents and bam out of no where was fired. They will work you over 24 hours as well if they cannot find someone to come this place is no legit and do not follow protocol.

Employees are over worked and under paid. If you want to pay bills and eat you have to work so many hours you have no family life or work a second job. Not enough staff to cover sites when people call off or quit. The insurance offered by continental is a joke. For family coverage you pay way to much for very little. It seriously is a joke. When you ask about getting a raise its the same excuse oh we are trying to renegotiate. They are more worried about their profit then the quality of life for their employees. Without warning they will deduct money out of your check for things such as van tires even if it's not your fault they ran the gate and blew them. The policies are still outdated. Dispatch doesn't communicate. Head of Hr sends letters out on holidays that basically say you work while I sit at home with my family so keep it up so I don't have to do anything. He also isn't that good at Human Resource relations. I'm glad my time with this company has come to an end and yes this is my I quit statement.

I have worked for Continental for just over a year now. I can say, they are always trying to improve, whether it's relations with employees, clients, or the public. Private security is a demanding profession that often gets the short end of the stick, but the truly do appreciate their employees. I have met and heard stories of employees that have been here for more than 25 years. That has to say something about the company.
