CoderDojoChi: Empowering Youth Through Coding Education

CoderDojoChi is a nonprofit organization that aims to empower youth through coding education. The organization was founded in 2013 by a group of volunteers who wanted to provide free coding classes to children and teenagers in the Chicago area. Since then, CoderDojoChi has grown into a thriving community of young coders, mentors, and supporters who are passionate about technology and its potential to change the world.

Our Classes

We offer web development, game development, app development classes for youth ages 7-17. Our curriculum is designed to be fun, engaging, and challenging for students at all skill levels. We use industry-standard tools such as HTML/CSS/JS for web development; Unity3D for game development; Swift/Xcode for iOS app development; Java/Android Studio for Android app development.
