5 stars for the service department. My car wouldn't pass smog and after spending $165 for a bunk diagnosis and a tampered gas cap (purchased from Patterson), Dr. of Motors tried to defraud me out of over $900 to replace the whole EVAP canister. Thank goodness I took it to the dealer, a diagnosis showed the brand new gas cap leak, there was nothing wrong with the canister. With a new gas cap, my car passed smog the first time. Thanks Bill and the Patterson service team!

NEVER AGAIN. The sales man was rude and didn't listen to what we said or wanted. They tried to take our truck as a trade in but offered way less than it was worth. Went to another Toyota dealer and got over $2000 more than I was offered at Chuck. If you want to be treated badly and made to feel like your business doesn't matter than go to Chuck patterson. I went to Toyota Marin for good and honest costumer service.

Two or three times a year (for several years) I will receive a mailer from them. It has a scratch off. If you get the winning number you win. I get the winning number every time. I've never won a prize worth claiming.

The catch is you have to go to the dealership to claim your prize. My opinion? It's a scam to get you in to the dealership. I once asked if anyone ever won the car or 25k dollars. They could not provide me with that info.

I took my car in because I thought I had a major problem with the rear brakes in my 2008 Toyota Corolla. Turns out, no major problems, just a piece of rock that found its way into the rear drum. Darren, the Toyota service person that I talked to, was honest and gave me information on the braking system of my car. Worst customer service ever. When a maintenance reminder light was not reset following an oil change, I called to find out what to do, I was told to ask Google. And that was the end of that. So I bought my new Toyota Prius at Oroville Toyota NOT Chuck Patterson. Poor customer service leads to lack of sales. I was very happy that there was another choice for my Toyota purchase and that I did not have to put up with Chuck Patterson's poor customer service and attitudes. They have become too big for their britches. I live in Paradise and so I have a choice. Chico or Oroville. Oroville Toyota wins.

When I asked Nate Hart, who readily sold me the car, he said Chuck Patterson never puts gas in any used car they sell!!! How shabby can you get? I wish I could rescind the whole deal.

Chuck Patterson reached a new low in customer service today. We purchased our Toyota Prius seven years ago and have had terrible service with each visit, but today they even surpassed their typically abysmal record. They refused to honor the extended warranty refund program because of some fine print on the document sold to us seven years ago. They may no attempt to contact us about our refund or notify us of the 60 day refund window (after 7 years!) and the shark of a salesman that sold it to us said nothing about the impossibly short refund window. Worst of all the finance officer and general manager were completely unapologetic. All that we required was that they show some empathy and provide is with a credit toward service or some small token of compassion and we would have left disappointed, rather than disgusted. Instead they passed all blame onto us and said "too bad... it's your fault". I told them I would never buy a car their again and their answer was, "well that's fine with us." Pathetic! No wonder Chuck Patterson has a one star ratting on Yelp.

I had been shopping for about 6 months for a new vehicle. I accidentally came across the New Camry, 2020 makeover. Looks just like a Beemer or an Audi, but much more reliable. lol And the Top Trim XLE comes with an optional V-6 engine with 301 HP.

I had briefly considered a Lexus, but I decided to go one step down in "luxury," while getting the same reliability, and saving $10-$15 grand.

Chuck Patterson Toyota was the only place in Northern California that had the EXACT Camry, fully loaded, V-6, Pearl color. Only one in stock. Although I lived much closer to Lithia Toyota in Redding, I went to Chico to check out the New Camry.

Toyota was having a "0% Interest for 60 months" special financing, and that's the big reason why I decided buy this particular vehicle.

Chuck Patterson Toyota was very busy when I was there. All the staff, including salespeople, were relaxed and friendly. My salesperson was Jeff M. and he did a great job.

When all was said and done, I didn't get any better price than what was already stated on the Chuck Patterson website. But I got exactly what I wanted and the experience was pleasant and easy.

Oh...here's the clincher: Jeff said that if I buy the vehicle, it's mine to ride home. He will get one of his guys to drive my Dodge Magnum V-8 HEMI back to my house 70 miles away. My answer: Done Deal.

The car drives like silk. It has every safety device ever invented, including back-up camera (that I love) as well as a "bird's-eye" overhead 360 view.

I took those 301 ponies up to 100 mph on the way home and there was so much more. I can't believe I'm driving a Camry now. lol

This is a review from The time I walked in to purchase my car to the day I received the upgrades I purchased along with my car.

The day I walked in I was greeted by a nice kid who had just started working there I had told him that I was looking for a Scion XB with a Manual Transmission, he looked around and had none on the lot.Tom came out to assist the new kid and was pretty insistent that I test drive and automatic even after I made it pretty clear I wasn't interested in test driving one.

So after that they offered to look around the nor cal area and see what they could find me with a manual transmission I agreed and filled out the paper work for credit and all the normal stuff you do when buying a car and printed out with them online the car I wanted with rims, lowering springs, and the alarm system included in the price. Tom then started questioning me as to why I wanted a manual instead of an automatic with a tone like I was stupid for knowing what I wanted.

They called me and said I was approved and they would start looking for the car and told me the interest rate and I was happy with it they also told me I had a $500 Military discount since I am a 100% Disabled Veteran. Every thing sounded great and ready to go.

A couple of days later they get the car in that I had wanted and called me up to come in and finish up the deal and of course I was excited to say the least. I get there and they had the interest jacked up 5% more then what I was originally told which took my monthly payments well over what I was willing to pay, and then on top of that they told me I would NOT be getting my $500 Military Discount. We sat and went back and forth for a few as they continued to try and pressure me into paying some ridiculous amount and telling me how I wasted their money for them to get the car for me(which we all know gas is a write off for dealerships) so they got my blood pretty hot. So naturally I got up and walked out. They called me a couple of hours later and said they had the paper work mixed up and found the right paperwork with the right interest rate on it and talked me back into coming in to get the car but mind you I still was NOT getting the Military Discount that Scion offers. No big deal right its only $500 but still as a Disabled Vet I still believe I deserve it. So I went ahead with the deal anyways.

Now the day comes along that all my goodies I ordered come in. This is where Star number two comes in and is the only reason they got two stars from me at all. honestly I should be writing a totally separate review for their service department since they were the better part of my experience and would be getting a 4 star review alone but again this is about my purchase from start to end.

I pulled up at 830am I had and appointment at 9 my car got pulled in at 845ish didn't get touched til about 1030am no big deal I to was a mechanic by trade and worked in dealerships so I know how the shop works. The service writer Darren was extremely nice and very helpful I have nothing bad to say about him what so ever. The Mechanic that worked on my car was a great kid as well and did a good job with the install of my accessories. After all was said and done I pulled out of the dealership just shy of 4pm. In their defense it was a Monday morning and they were slammed.

This is the second car I have purchased from Chuck Patterson and sadly the last I will ever purchase here. Playing the interest rate game and not honoring my Military discount and hassling & pressuring me to buy the car just ruined it for me.

They covered up he fact that someone stole stuff out of my vehicle while getting an estimate. And when I brought it up they tried to blame me for it being missing from my truck. I get it, dont leave anything in your vehicle. I did not push it after that. But seriously guys you know it is one of your people you should have more spine to fire the thieves you have in your employee. If this ap allowed me to give you zero or negative stars you would have at most negative 3 stars from me. Hope you have better luck than I did.

I felt that they worked hard to get my service covered under warranty which made my week to not having to spend extra money, and they even put on more durable brakes and rotors than what I had before. My finance and I where extremely interested in a 2006 vehicle they have on the lot. We can in to test drive it and fell in love. We have a great income and his credit score is 799. So we qualified but only for a $30,000 vehicle, not the 2006. I couldnt believe it! So why have the 2006 if its not available to finance? I believe it was a scam to get us in the door! Im truly disappointed with Chuck Patterson. Don't advertise the car if you don't plan on selling it!

Was told i was eligible for a rental car when i dropped of my jeep to get the recall parts replaced the shuttle took me to enterprise and when enterprise called they said i wasn't eligible. Then when i was stranded at enterprise i called and got attitude at which point i said so I've been lied to and will never buy a car from your lot again and hung up. I recived a call after my husband posted a negative post that they will be comping me a rental car for tge day then proceeded to ask me to have my husband take down the post.

I have had multiple bad experiences with the service department at Chuck Patterson. After dealing with them today I will never go back. It looks like it's going to be better for me to drive to Yuba City or Red Bluff (from Magalia) than deal with them again. I've also noticed that they have a really high turnover of staff in the service department. Every time I go there (and I've been getting regular maintenance done on my car for the last 3 years there) it's a new person and many of them are not very knowledgeable. From my observation there is definitely a problem with the way things are being run there. The fiasco I dealt with today was the final straw. Save yourself time, money, and energy- don't go to Chuck Patterson.

Best customer servicer and the employees were very helpful and everything. They helped me with my very first hand car which it's a 2018 Toyota Corolla LE and it's very different for me because I use drive a 2000 Honda Accord LX V6 VTEC and this one has so many specs and such as touch screen radio which I never had. Overall this car is completely a huge upgrade coming from a person who drives the 90's car. Thank you!!

WORST possible service EVER. For literally everything. The sales experience was awful. No communication with us or between the other workers. It was seriously IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of anyone over the phone and still is. The position we were in this was the only dealership that was able to get my gf approved so didn't have much of a choice. Which is extremely unfortunate because they are such a nightmare to work with. Took the car in to be serviced. No one called when it was ready for pick up. So had to go in to find out the shop closed. Never had a pleasant experience with this dealership and cannot believe it's so hard to get through to someone on the phone or even get a call back. Would NEVER reccomend purchasing a car from them. I'm not even sure how they have such a high rating and positive comments. Haven't seen anything good come from them. If you're looking for a good dealership to work with go to Chico Nissan!!

Just had my second service from Chuck Patterson Toyota on my 2018 Rav4 Hybrid. They got me in right away and told me it would be 45 min and it was more like 30, so I was pleased with the extra time. Plus, I got a free Scrubbs car wash card. Highly recommend the dealership for both sales and service. :)

Needed 2 more of these due to repairing my exhaust issue with my 06 D.C. 4X4, called Chuck Patterson to order these and they quoted me $20 a piece even though last time they charged me $12-15 each last time. Looked online (THANKFULLY), 2 different OTHER TOYOTA DEALERSHIPS had em listed at $10.41 EACH MARKED DOWN FROM $14.41, I asked if they'd be competitive an honor the price from the OTHER dealerships dude said no I can only mark em down to $15 each, I said koo, I'll order somewhere else at that price listed went online and got them for a total of $21.50 WITH SHIPPING from THE OTHER nearby Toyota Dealership.

My fiancee took our 2004 Avalon for some warranty service here. She thought she would also get an oil change while it was there. The person helping her decided an oil change wasn't enough business for them, and then told her that the "drive belt" needed to be replaced. Knowing it just had its 100,000 mile checkup, and everything that needed to be replaced already had been, she refused. If you're a woman, or they think you don't know anything about cars, prepare for them to attempt to take advantage of you.

Do not buy a vehicle from them. Issue after issue after buying a brand new vehicle and they have done nothing but give me the run around. It's been 12 months of hell trying to get answers. If you're looking for customer service do yourself a favor and don't go to them. They just want your money and they don't care about the service you receive. Disappointing. Especially when these issues weren't my fault. Buyer beware.
