WE in a couple in the LOT department, where everything was perfect of the beauty and serenity of the place, the magnificent terrace overlooking the Dordogne, the bedroom and bathroom at the top.
The welcome, the friendly service and very courteous, will delight the most demanding.
The dinner absolutely unforgettable with the good local products in the spotlight, not to mention the delicious breakfast to finish this stay in beauty.

A perfect chateau with impeccable service. The restaurant serves delicious and creative cuisine. Some of the finest meals we have ever had; desserts are perfect and beyond amazing. The entire staff of the chateau is helpful and very knowledgeable.

We had a great time, the castle is beautiful, our room was perfect with a view of the French gardens and another view of the Dordogne. For dinner, our taste buds were amazed. The staff is perfect.

My wife and I came to France to celebrate our 40th anniversary. The entire trip was wonderful but Chateau de la Treyne was simply the most extraordinary 2 days we have ever spent on vacation. The chateau - beautiful. The food - exceptional. The staff - gracious and accommodating is a serious understatement. We both agreed that we will fondly remember our stay for the rest of our lives. Thank you all for an extraordinary stay.

A spectacular and wonderful chateau-hotel, perfectly sited on the banks of the Dordogne river, with spectacular rooms and superb food. Strongly recommended.

Amazing, ate at restaurant only. On a table on the balcony in perfect weather with one of the best meals I've had. Will hit the credit card fairly hard, though worth it for a treat. Couldn't be a better setting for a luxurious weekend away or even wedding.

Our overnight stay at Chateau de la Treyne was truly one of the most memorable getaways we have ever experienced. The huge welcome at the Front Desk was just a taste of things to come. Exploring the Chateau and its surrounds was exhilarating, the location cannot be beaten. We had a superb river view from Duc on the second floor. The public rooms are all so tastefully decorated and furnished. A bit too chilly for the Terrace but we can only imagine how delightful it would be to dine out there on a summer's evening. We dined in the very beautiful Salon Louis XIII room. The meal (Des Grands Classiques du Chateau) was totally beautiful, each course rated amongst the best food ever sampled. One tip - go easy on the generous quantities of bread that are offered as you will need to pace yourself with the quantity of food. We just could not face a breakfast the following morning, but coffee and tea were eagerly supplied as we sat by the fire. Stephanie - it was so appreciated that you took the time to come to every table and offer your personal welcome to your stunning Chateau. And even when we were leaving you admonished me for not allowing one of your staff to carry our small suitcase to the car. You have a great team supplying a world leading product. We will be back!

A perfect location, quiet, with a view of the Dordogne. We are very well received, the service is flawless, and the cuisine creative and excellent. For a gourmet restaurant, the dishes are generous, and the "tasting" menu delighted us.

We also really appreciated the Tower suite, and its exceptional bathroom!

The experience was faultless in every way from start to finish. Perfect for my husbands 50 year birthday celebrations.

The restaurant service, ambiance, and food were excellent. Gold accented dishes and galssware covered plain white tables along with simple Christmas decorations. The service was excellent - attentive when needed and offered great wine and drink suggestions. The food while at times seemingly simple was extraordinary. A small lentil cappuccino was a standout amuse-bouche, along with an fixed 3 course menu. Overall a great experience.

It is located in an enchanting position with a magnificent view of the Dordogne. It has large outdoor spaces: a well-kept French garden and a vast park for walking (in 20 minutes you reach another chateaux) where the swimming pool and the fields are located. tennis. The rooms are nice, large and comfortable (mine had a view of the Dordogne on one side and the garden on the other). The dining room lined with paneling and painted coffered ceiling is also very nice, as an alternative, in bad weather, to the terrace on the river. The kitchen has a Michelin star but, in my opinion, it deserves two. Good wine list: for the choice rely on Eric, a very friendly and competent maitre of the dining room who will advise you for the best. Also the morning breakfast is not buffet style but it is still complete and with excellent products. the only negative aspect concerns the common interior spaces. There is a pleasant room but it is used only for morning breakfasts, an unusable bar area because it borders the kitchen and serves as a passage for the waiters, to place trays, etc. a small but inadequate little library room. However, a highly recommended address.
