My son had to go to the ER here for a concussion as well as I had to go here for falling down a staircase at another time. The ER doctors and nurses immediately accused my husband of wife beating when I went. They were ok to my kid the other time. The billing department however is a mess. I would get bills late because of the mailmen but would pay faithfully on the account. I received threatening phone calls every month from them at first and every time I would say I got your bill on such and such a date and mailed it out then. They would check and see that I had sent it and apologized but the next month I would get another phone call going over the same thing. In order to prevent this, I started to put notes on the bill: "received on (date)" and mailed " on date" and asked for them to generate the bills sooner so I would get it. One time the man told me that "they didn't send out bills every month" to which I replied "I need a bill to pay it because my life is busy. I will forget without one". After I started asking for the bills to be mailed sooner, I started getting letters back in the mail from them. Bills are due every month at the same time or you are not getting this because of the mailman. I understood and continued to send my payments in as I do with any bill I have. Finally the last bill I wrote "Paid in full." I got a Mr. Smotes calling me on the phone stating that he didn't want notes in the mail anymore and was really sarcastic. He told me to call him instead. What a bunch of unprofessional people has been my thought through this whole process. I ALWAYS pay my bills; I have excellent credit; and they are treating me like a deadbeat. I would not go here again unless I am unconscious or dying.
