Hoci funguje, chýba mu podpora 5GHz pásma, takže nahrávanie RAW súborov a videí cez 2.4GHz trvá dlho a rýchlo vybíja batériu. Pri bežnom používaní, keď treba rýchlo presunúť pár záberov do počítača, by bolo rýchlejšie riešenie vítané. Čakal by som aj rýchlejšie rozširovanie ponuky RF objektívov, aby nebolo nutné používať redukčné krúžky a väčšie teleskopické objektívy. Celkovo som však z nákupu v čase Black Friday veľmi nadšený a odporúčam urobiť si prieskum skôr, než začať hľadať drobné nedostatky.

I had to go through the trouble of reaching out to Canon support three separate times just to get my new printer up and running. I managed to get past the initial setup phase, but it still couldn't locate the device, so the process remains incomplete.

I really wish Canon would offer 24/7 customer support. They need to be much more attentive to their clients. This is the first time I’ve encountered an issue with their products, which makes the experience even more frustrating.

Canon’s printing capabilities are severely limited, as I couldn’t even print on standard #10 business envelopes. For an experienced IT professional with over four decades in network administration and forensic investigation, it’s baffling that Canon’s technical specs didn’t clearly highlight such basic incompatibilities before I bought this trash. Unless it’s a free gift, I’ll never use a Canon printer again—it’ll just gather dust.

Canon is being overly aggressive with its data privacy policy, and it feels like a major red flag. They claim that if you don’t consent to them tracking your online activities, social media interactions, and uploaded print files, you’ll be restricted from using their services. It’s not just about identity verification or service maintenance; they want your personal data for a long list of vague purposes, including improving products and protecting their own interests. The irony is palpable: they demand extensive access to your info while simultaneously admitting they can’t guarantee its safety once it travels across the web. I believe customers should have the right to opt out without being penalized, but Canon’s approach feels more like an ultimatum than a choice. For a company of Canon’s stature, this one-sided data grab is disappointing.

Three months after purchasing this Canon printer, I’ve only used it a handful of times, yet it constantly jams. The extended warranty I bought is practically useless; the customer service team just told me to call Canon, which was equally unhelpful. Between the $100 cost of the device and the $300 in lost productivity trying to fix it, this thing is a total waste. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone and might even pursue legal action to get my money back.

Canon’s printer struggles with software updates; it located the necessary file but failed to install it. Connectivity issues are also common, with frequent Wi-Fi dropouts. The customer service experience is frustrating. Support staff seem untrained and disengaged, often offering generic responses just to get you off the phone rather than truly resolving the issue.

Getting Canon software updates feels like pulling teeth. The service experience is frankly terrible, with technicians who seem undertrained and more than a bit lazy. They give you the runaround and just want you to leave so they can get back to their own business. I wouldn’t recommend buying from Canon right now.

My Canon Pixma ix6820 has served me for nearly five years, but a recent technical hiccup turned into a nightmare thanks to Canon’s support maze. To make matters worse, I discovered you have to manually activate support on your MyCanon account—why isn’t it the default? The frustration peaked when I called, only to be told I lacked an account, despite clearly seeing my dashboard and support settings. To top it off, I learned that each support call now costs $19.99. For a brand that prides itself on quality, this aggressive monetization feels cheap. I’m done wasting money on a company that makes it harder to get help than to buy a new machine. If you want a printer where you can actually reach someone, look elsewhere.

Three times I bought the Canon PowerShot SX420 IS because the photos were sharp, but finally, I’m done. I’ve held onto my faith in this model long enough to repurchase it after each failure and even gift two units, yet they all just stop working. The reliability is gone, and now I’m giving up.

I bought a brand-new Canon SX740 HS as an anniversary present, but the image quality was atrocious with bizarre color balance. I contacted Canon customer support expecting a proper fix, but they decided to simply swap my unit instead of repairing it. It’s insulting that a camera with virtually zero shutter clicks was replaced with a used refurbished model that likely has thousands of clicks and was delivered unclean. As a professional sports photographer who relies heavily on Canon DSLRs and gear, this experience was deeply disappointing. The lack of communication before shipping the replacement felt like lazy incompetence. I’m returning the camera on eBay right now. After years of loyalty, I’m done with Canon.

I recently dealt with Canon and it wasn’t a great experience. After a storm caused a power outage, my printer stopped working. I reached out for help, only to be told that technical support isn’t free. I tried every fix listed in the online manual, but nothing worked, so I was directed to call them anyway. Deciding to start fresh, I bought a new Wi-Fi printer. It arrived without a physical manual, so I relied entirely on their website. Even though I followed the online instructions exactly, I couldn’t get the printer connected to my computer or phone after spending over an hour on it. The online guides felt incomplete, and the fact that support is unavailable on weekends made it even harder. My first Canon device was reliable, but that goodwill is fading. They offer almost no real customer service beyond a flawed website. If you can get the hardware to work, it might be okay, but be prepared for a headache. Proceed with caution.

I recently tried to cancel my utility subscription on the Canon website, and the process was a complete mess. There was no clear option to actually cancel, which was incredibly frustrating since I don’t even have the camera anymore and have zero plans to use it in the future. Given this lack of basic customer service, I’m done with the brand and won’t be buying another Canon product again.

Getting any human being on the line at Canon has become a nightmare. Despite having an account and properly registered devices, I was completely unable to reach support. I own two Canon printers now and have bought others from them over the years, yet I wasted two entire hours trying to get someone to actually speak to me. It feels like the person-to-person service is gone.

Stuck with my Canon printer connectivity issues and it’s been a nightmare. I’ve been calling for days, but I can’t get a human on the line to actually help me resolve this. I’ve done everything on my end, but support is impossible to reach. One star.

I’m struggling to register my new Canon printer because the system insists the serial number is invalid, even though I’ve double-checked it. Getting help feels like a endless loop—the support number claims to be available 24/7, but that clearly isn’t the case when you actually try to reach them. To make matters worse, there’s no email option for follow-up, so I’m stuck trying to resolve this right now while I have the time, with no easy way to send details later.
