It has been a great few days, the community is pretty clean and quiet. People are also really nice around here and it is very easy to make friends. The map given to us on move in day has also been helpful in finding our way around the complex.

From the first day moving in, I had problems with this apartment complex. They first gave me the wrong set of keys when I moved into my apartment, and when I went to get the right ones it took a couple of hours. Later on in my residency, I noticed the trash piles up next to the dumpster multiple times which caused an awful smell next to my apartment. After the first month, they tried to charge me for a different room than what I was staying in ($10 difference.. yes $10 is $10 but over a 12-month stay that's $120). It took me more than five months of talking to the staff in the front office about this issue and it was never resolved until I asked to speak to the complex manager. Along with these issues, there were things left over in my apartment from the previous owner that was not removed after listing them in my move-in sheet. To make matters worse, they are now trying to charge me for removing the things that were listed when I first moved in. When I tried to contact them about this issue, it took me 5 attempts via phone and email before they got back to me. Even when they called me it wasn't about my issue with the charges it was about how I haven't paid them yet! This is by far the worse experience I had with any complex I've stayed in. If I could I would give their customer service a -5/10. All it seemed like they were more worried about my money than my personal experience which now caused me to move out. For paying $500 a month for a complex that isn't located near any of the universities and poor customer experience I HIGHLY ADVISE people to look elsewhere.
The price is affordable but management/maintenance are unhelpful, rude, and unknowledgeable. If you can afford it I would definitely recommend living elsewhere, don't waste your time or money. If this is the cheapest place you can find, I highly suggest not letting them match you with a roommate. This is just not my opinion, I've heard this from several others that live here.
The Cabana Beach team is always friendly and helpful as soon as you hit the door! Living at Cabana is like living at a resort as this community has several incredible amenities. My favorite feature is the massive pool surrounded by islands of tropical landscaping with an actual sand beach and cabanas for studying or catching some rays after class and an outdoor jumbotron for watching the Gators play poolside. Parking is great. The spaces are big and there is plenty of guest parking for having friends over. Water, internet, electric and cable are included too so you don't have worry about paying additional bills on top of rent each month. Conveniently, the RTS bus drops off inside the community as well as you can avoid walking home in an afternoon shower and takes you right to the Reitz Union for drop off.
This is an especially nice complex. Most apartment businesses that target college students only care about profits. This complex is cleaner and better overall!
Manuela was SO helpful and understanding! Her tour was very comprehensive and she answered all of my questions perfectly. I am very excited about possibly living at this complex
I didn't live here, but I remember back in 2013-2014 I would visit my friends and attend the pool parties as an undergraduate student at UF. The quality of the apartments and the number of amenities offered seemed decent at the time.
I haven t moved in yet but I ve signed a lease and the process was so easy. I also took a tour and everyone was so kind and welcoming to me. I definitely cannot wait to move in:))
