PHENOMENAL service and food. Happy, friendly, efficient staff. Had the California skillet which was super tasteful and pretty. We shared that and a bowl of the wonderful, creamy oatmeal with toppings. Highly recommend!
Wish we could have tried the food. We got right in and got seated with 3 small children but almost 15 minutes later, our order still hadn't been taken. Our server approached around 10 minutes in and said she would be there in just a sec but then went and bussed and cleaned tables. I felt bad gathering the family and leaving but they missed some major cues and reasonable timeframes of service. This was our first visit; trying new things didn't work out this time but I added a star because everyone was friendly despite not providing good service.
Went there and didn't eat our food. The staff didn't even acknowledge that they took our plates that were basically untouched! Our table was turned over so fast, terrible service.
People call this "home cooked"? The food here is more like frozen, from a bag, left on the flat too long, without being seasoned. Get it together Berna B's.
Breakfast is fantastic! If you want a good meal at a fair price with great service this is a must. I'm a big breakfast person and this is better than eating at home. The staff is very friendly and the owner is there most of the time greeting guest and making sure you are well taken care of. Better than going to grandma's house!
Food was gross with no seasoning. Chicken fried steak was like chewing gum. I wouldn't serve this food to my dog. Coffee, maple syrup, and ketchup all tasted and appeared to be watered down. I wouldn't recommend eating here. McDonald's has a better breakfast then this place.
We stopped here because of the name. Berna is my mother in law's name. The food was better than my Berna's that's for sure. Breakfast burrito was one of the best ever. Service was superior.
Gosh, everything was delicious from the chicken fried steak to the stuffed French toast. Great place for breakfast!
So delicious! They also have gluten free and paleo options. This is my new favorite breakfast place. YUM!
