I am giving the 2 stars for the techs and nurses. They were our angels. The program they had was for substance and alcohol not for what I was looking for. This has been a horrible experience for me. I thought I was going there for Mental Health. I have been suffering from depression, anxiety and trauma for 5 years. . They didn t even have a program for people like me yet but they were working on it .
They took me off of my anxiety medication without telling me when I made arrangements when I made arrangements to go there. After detox I got really sick. For 24 hours i was having panic attacks. Whatever they gave me didn t help. I didn t ask them to detox me from my medication that are prescribed by my doctor and I don t abuse it. I m writing this for people who are looking for help for mental health. DO NOT fall for it. They lied to me.
After 10 days I signed an AMA and my husband picked me up.
It s a big place and the doctors or nurses are busy and don t have time if you need to see them. I saw my physiatrist once. It s all about the money.
It worked for alcohol and substance abuse but not for people with Mental Health.
Just do ask more questions and do research before you decide to go there. Good luck to you all.
