Used to buy stuff from here (the lakeside storefront) every time I visit Lake Geneva but the pale, thin, blond woman, late 50 s early 60 s, working at the counter today was so rude! Never said hello or welcome or anything, basically acted like I wasn t there when I walked in. She was literally throwing coins into the register one at a time, making a point to to it as loudly as possible to make it clear my mother and I weren t welcome in the store. we both felt like we were intruding in the store and weren t welcome. I was going to buy another ring but her attitude put me off so bad I put it back and left.
Obviously she s just there to make her hourly wages regardless of whether or not her attitude chases customers out of the store. The owners should hire friendlier workers if they don t want to lose business.
