The Beijing capital airport is one of my favorite airports. The airport is big and modern, with huge, open spaces and lots of shops. The temperature may be a bit warm sometimes though. The employees are extremely thorough and helpful, and can speak both good English and good Chinese. The restrooms are also amazingly clean, especially when compared to American public restrooms. The airport has some fascinating architectural designs, which may catch your eye. The security lines are nothing like the TSA lines in American airports as they are much faster and less crowded. Overall, BCIA is a big, spacious and modern airport.
