An excellent visit. Really explained the story of the Port wine business and it's growth over the last 300 plus years. My understanding of Port has definitely expanded! Lovely venue where the Port was aged after travel by boat down the Douro from the vineyards further up the valley. At the end of the visit we arrived at a lovely tasting venue/garden area. Two Ports were included in our ticket price each, others you paid for. We had a lovely late "lunch" of a selection of other ports to compare, together with a cheese platter. Service was excellent, not a bad way to have a lunch.....
