I never thought I’d tick off the Himalaya Manaslu Circuit on my bucket list until a friend convinced me how incredible it would be to trek through three countries. I was thrilled to find an opening with Wildland Trekking in Flagstaff just two months before my departure, and it turned out to be the best choice for an adventurous hike. The first few days were tough but totally manageable and incredibly rewarding. Honestly, it felt like the most luxurious trekking adventure I’ve ever experienced. Waking up to a hot shower and delicious food at a cozy hotel every evening was the real highlight. Our guides, Nicolas and Audrey, were fantastic—friendly, supportive, and always ensuring we were well-fed, whether we were in the mountains or relaxing at the lodge. I also got incredibly lucky with perfect weather throughout the entire journey.
