262. If you just search on Richmond, VA on Yelp, that's where this place shows on the list.

And yet, it's one of the top recommended list of places made to people who don't know better.

I have to admit a little bias as I worked here as a bartender when it first opened in 1978.

The way they treated employees is the way a baby treats diapers, which deeply affected my attitude towards future visits.

Despite that, I have returned a few times over the decades to remind myself why I don't come back. The food is spendy without being great. It's noisy. Parking is not close, cheap or convenient.

But other than that, I can't say enough great things about it.
