It's rare now to find a pub that ticks all the box...

It's rare now to find a pub that ticks all the boxes, but this one managed it and more. A very warm welcome in a comfortable and idyllic setting, good local beer, and the food was excellent. Our party got through pork ribs, homemade pie, a homemade burger, and the fish and chips I had where fantastic.
Well worth seeking out.
