Came to dialogue with Up and Running about a pair of $120 Nikes I had bought a little less than 2 months ago whose left sole was coming apart near the toe. She pointed out (and probably rightly so given that I brought in said shoes with the left shoe untied but the right shoe tied) that I was probably (at least in part) using the my left shoe to assist in taking off my still laced right shoe- all the more probable given a recent right knee surgery. Still, for $120, you'd like it to hold up a little better than it was. That being said, Holly was great about it and replaced the Nikes with another brand that I considered previously at no cost. Even when I offered to pay a pro-rated amount, she insisted that if we are calling the Nikes defective, then they are defective and I shouldn't have to pay anything. Kudos to you guys for leaning on the side of the customer, leaning into generosity. Its greatly appreciated and I will definitely be back for my next pair of shoes.
