I have been coming to Waterloo since it was down the street . It has a huge selections of used and new records CD's T shirts and Gifts . It's the only place in Austin with a high probability of having what you are looking for .

I like Half price books but let's be honest their prices are no longer half price . It's more accurate to say double price books . They more than double the price that they pay just kidding they quadruple their price especially on collectible albums . At least with Waterloo you know the score .

Waterloo has the fresh used section by the weekday and used in the general area . I hit the general area first and then the fresh stock . Their prices rival half price and their volume blows half price out of the water .

Vinyl section is growing with the demand . so that section is as good as any .

Support this store if you want to keep the last thing that keeps Austin weird . It's like liberty lunch, dans hamburgers,, huts it's gone and almost gone . Austins view of keeping it weird is by taxing it out and replacing it with Amazon ,
