I had a horrible experience with this company. I paid for shipment from Dallas to Phoenix. Business to Home delivery. Right now they delayed 1 week from the estimated delivery time. It was supposed to 2 to 3 days. It has been 9 days. Now they are saying that they cannot deliver as the cargo cannot be delivered to a residential address, even with a lift gate option. Customer service agent (I believe her name was Nancy) was so rude and just repeating. Sorry, we cannot help you and you need to find your own solution. I don't know what to do now. Do they not feel accountable and responsible? They have my money and cargo. I don't know how to fight this situation.
An update to my shipment. After probably 20 phone calls, I was able to get a quote to re-route the shipment. I moved it to a warehouse next door to where the YRC Freight was. They charged a staggering $690. The cost from Dallas to Phoenix including pick up and drop off was $800. Change to the destination (new is 1 mile vs old was 25 miles) is $690 more. You can figure if you want to continue using YRC.
