We can’t say enough good things about our Wildland Trekking experience in the Bechler region of Yellowstone. As a couple new to backcountry backpacking, we were thrilled to be in the hands of our guide, Danni Tilley. Her deep knowledge of the area’s unique geology and wildlife made the trip incredibly educational. Danni was incredibly thoughtful in her preparation, ensuring we felt both safe and comfortable the entire time. She also exceeded our expectations with the meals; it’s a wonder how she managed to cook such a delicious variety of dishes, like chicken fajitas and oatmeal pancakes, on a simple camping stove with just two pots. Beyond the great food, the real highlight was the sense of solitude. By venturing off the beaten path, we enjoyed exclusive sights like Lonestar Geyser, Mr. Bubbles, and scenic waterfalls, often picking wild berries along the way.
