My boyfriend and I went to Redstones for our late valentines date, and had Becca as our server she was spectacular!!! Our food was a blessing drinks were above and beyond. If you go to Redstones in ridge dale ask for Becca she is amazing!
It is a very nice restaurant and food was awesome. The night my husband and I went was our 20th wedding anniversary. Although I noted this on the reservations no one except the host who sat us said anything.
The new bar is just a fraction of the size of the old location. Maybe 10 stools plus just 3 high tops. Very disappointed as we would often drop in for a quick dinner and drinks. I'm sure they did research before doing this, but it makes little sense to me.
Short ribs were excellent and served with red potatoes, asparagus, and a rich gravy. Paired with a local chocolate stout..hmmm good. This isn't someplace I go all the time as they are a little on the expensive side..but worth it. ( average about $35- $40 per person including tip.) ( waitress are k...
My family loved it. The setting is unique with big wood furnishing and my sons, who work in Culinary, were very interested to note the very open kitchen concept. They also thought the men's restroom was pretty cool... So much so that one of the boys wanted to take a picture but stopped when someo...
Go for the chicken and ribs, they still do a good job with those items. However, the rib eye was a terrible cut and the tres leches dessert was actually dry. I didn't think that was possible. I ate less than half my steak and my wife shared her ribs and chicken. A more observant server would have no...
This place feels like an upscale bar despite being attached to the mall, which is an impressive feat in my opinion. Been here twice and both times was worth $50 (app, drink, entrees) for two people! Leftovers were still fantastic the next day. Service was really good, almost annoyingly perfect. Go h...
Shame on you Redstone for hiring a manager with such salty behavior! While the food and service were excellent, this lady clearly has no interest in pleasing customers OR problem solving. We purchased $300 in gift cards! (same day) and received $75 in rewards which we presented for our tab. . . The...
Very good/prompt service, the Redstone burger was quite delicious, however, the price was a bit steep. Over all great restaurant with a good atmosphere.
The food was really good, I had the walleye. I also had a really yummy cocktail that had elder flower and Hendricks gin in it. I'm taking off one star because there was a severe gnat problem on the patio.
Have been to Red Stones other times for what I would tell as many people as I could how great their brunch was! I say was because it has been changed and is no longer good! Service was good, company good but food sub par for an $18 brunch. Just blah! I was so excited prior!
I've never had a poor experience at Redstone EVER. I appreciate their customer service and great food. Check out what's new on the menu ... Shoes not included

Went there on a busy Thursday night. Took 35 minutes to get a table- liked their text system for waiting though.
Vegetarian and gluten free options are not marked, choices are few and far between however or server did indicated that they can omit certain ingredients from the menu options. (I know...
Ordered a ny strip medium rare. What they brought me was a different kind of meat well done and full of salt and that for 40$ Told them about it but did not bring me a different one tables not 6 feet apart waiter not attentive never go back and will spread the word
My wife and I had an enjoyable time here. We ordered the Cajun Seafood Pasta and Garlic Mushrooms. The sauce was rich and creamy while the seafood was cooked to perfection and seasoned wonderfully. Our server, Amanda, was amazingly understanding about my ...
I went there for lunch with some colleagues from work. The place has a nice atmosphere, service and food were good. But for what they put out, the prices are way too high. $17 for a French Dip sandwich (lunch size portion, not very big). All other dishes in the group, were $18-20 and not that big...
Time after time fantastic experience, around 8pm. Brussel sprouts were cooked and crisped to perfection, I could eat their BBQ braised beef short ribs eveyday tender and full of flavor, excellent GF menu. Service has been consistently fast, refined and professional. I love dining here for all occas...
Food is invariably good at Redstone. Service varies more widely. Prices are average. Wine selection is poor, and relatively expensive, especially by the glass. New location inside Ridgedale mall is more modern, but lacks some of the charm of the old location across the street.
If you want to try a little bit more sophisticated American food without having to pay a lot, this is a good option. It's not cheap, but not very expensive. We tried the Redstone steak and it was delicious, even if the portion was a little bit small. Special mention to the dessert. The cookie with...
Ridiculously expensive for what the food is. I mean it's good, but not THAT amazing. Waiters were nice too. Just seems to be a little more upscale than what it's worth
This place is alright... Its send that this is the place that businesses take clients when they want to seem fancy without having to go downtown Wayzata and pay for 6smith and Cov prices.
The two stars are for having our table ready at 1 pm and the service we received from out waitress. We had a party of 14. We waited for almost 30 minutes to get our food after ordering. 5 people got their lunches. We then waited another 5-10 minutes to get the next 5 dishes. Then we waited an additi...
Good food but even better service. The last 3 times I've come with work we've had a waitress named Jeanine who's absolutely phenomenal. Redstone is lucky to have her.
We met friends here for a drink and the prices were comical. Beers must be $7.50 each, as our bill came to just under $16 for two. Our friends paid $45 for three foo-foo drinks. Food looked reasonably priced, so not sure why they are gouging people for alcohol. Other than this, the place looks prett...
Had lunch here with gal friends mid week. Nice menu, but very pricey. ($8.50 onion soup; $18 sandwiches/ salads.) Glad they've ditched the overwhelming woodsmoke smell of the old restaurant, but still have the rotisserie chicken. Food was good, but not THAT good.
I had the rotisserie chicken entre and it was very good. The garlic mashed potatoes were also good. The service was good, nothing spectacular, but attentive.
The best spot in the metro. They have great food and very unique liqour and wine selections. You'll usually find me here an hour or so before close on weekdays, chatting Danny or Lance's ears off. They're good people. Come feel at home sometime and say hi, I'm sure you wont regret it.
Really disappointed for the cost of this place. Service was very slowly, limited vegetarian options, super loud!!! (Couldn't even hear my friends) and the parking is super inconvenient. I won't be back.
Loved the previous location! Attempted several times at the new site attached to mall. Disappointed first few times and tried to be positive with each future experience. You just want it to be good! Reminiscent of the old location. Last time we went to the new location, decided to sit at the bar and...
Good food, good service, unfortunately the vintage if the wine we usually get (Mer Soleil Chardonnay) changed from 2017 to 2018, which was not a good change.
Had a great lunch experience. Our waitress was so helpful in choosing what was good. She recommended the chicken parmesan and everyone at the table had that for lunch. It was definitely a hit. Food came out within a decent amount of time and was delicious. Would love to go back and try the chocolate...
Was in a pinch on time ordered their broiled walleye and asked them instead of the rice pilaf if I could substitute it for more vegetables they said yes but there would be an up charge for it I told them that was fine. When I got home I realized what I really got was the broiled walleye and an array...
