Just seemed like your basic science museum. Not worth the $35 admission price. They have some VR exhibits which sounded great, but turned out to be either pretty lame or completely booked up for the day so that was disappointing.

Great place for the kids to spend the day learning and experimenting. The kids really enjoyed the bugs, especially the butterflies. The hands on experiments are the best. We appreciated the section on wellness and healthy bodies.
We would buy a season pass if we lived here.

Extremely outdated. Many stations are broken, even in the newer areas. Not much has changed in the 25 years that I've been going there. Bright spot is the butterfly exhibit. Have two kids who have fun there for about 15 minutes before they get frustrated with broken or hard-to-operate stations.

They had the best cinema set up in Washington and possibly the US. There are only a handful of commercial set ups like this and I've never been disappointed. My only fear is that more people will find out about this place and the lines will become outrageous.

Fun family place. I like that the exhibits appeal to kids of different ages, because younger kids like to manipulate things and experience the environments, where older kids and adults can think about the concepts involved. We go at least once a year. The special exhibits are always cool too.
